Our neglected Christmas Cactus

Something of an emergency blip today as we've had a quiet day doing our own thing! (And feeling more tired than ever as a consequence.) It could have been a blip of Mum doing her jigsaw or Ann catching up on her laptop (family history) or me gathering photos together to create the 2012 Family Album (I'm running late this year.) But I thought I'd leave everyone in peace today.

The cactus has been sitting at the side of our house all summer doing it's own thing. I brought it into the conservatory when it began to get frosty and then into the warmth a couple of weeks ago. The flowers have come out exactly the right time for Christmas.

p.s. My brother should have arrived in Washington by now!
