We're just popping out.... for 7 hours!

It's been a funny day today. We got up late, as Squash has been unsettled in his sleep patterns since our return from Ireland.

He had been asking for his Aunties, as always, so we ventured out down the road to see Auntie Tones and Hywel. A quick cuppa turned into us all watching Toy Story 3, so I briefly came home and retrieved my crochet project. After the film, Paul, Squash and Hywel did a little XBoxing, and we then popped around another corner to have an impronptu tea with Mum, Ian and Auntie Lucy.

Lulu is going away to Center Parcs with a friend tomorrow for the New Year, so we definitely needed to say bye to her. After a yummy tea and proper coffee, we played Hooplah and Yahtzee. By 7.45pm, Squash was a little bit grumpy so we've returned home and he's settled in bed,watching Wallace & Gromit.

An unexpected, but lovely, day.
