Fossil

Our brother Kieran found this fossilised foot by a river in Blenheim. No idea what it is but defiantly a foot of some bird.
He took a photo of it and sent it to TePapa Mueseum but they thought it was weed?? Someone there must of been smoking it as it looks like a foot and claws to me!!
It really is fascinating and I look forward to the outcome when he takes it back to the Fossil Mueseum in Blenheim for their input.
