Rocky mountaineer

Technically our tour is over today but not the adventure. As I write there is a humdinger of a storm Going on. This is our view from the window at the moment. It really is throwing it down. only a few moments earlier it was clear and I was going to photograph the Calgary tower.
We were going to go for a walk along Stephens Avenue which really comes alive in the evening with music and street entertainment. It is still several days away from stampede but everywhere is gearing up for it including our hotel.  Overnight a saddle on a fence appeared along with bales of hay/straw in the restaurant entrance.
All we can hear now are sirens as the fire trucks leave  the station below us. Going to be a noisy evening methinks
