Abstract Thursday: Waves

Ingeborg’s chosen challenge for Abstract Thursday this week is “waves”. I waited until evening as were planning to visit the “Hoppings” funfair being held in Newcastle this week.
 
The fairground was a tad busier than when I blipped it on Monday morning(!), and the sky was a beautiful blue instead of Monday's threatening clouds (see here for that shot, and for more details about the history of the fair).
 
Anyway I had in mind to get a photo looking up at the roller-coaster track, which is pretty wavy in itself, so I thought it would be a good base to start abusing it in Photoshop with some additional wave effect. (I wouldn't like to ride on it if it really looked like this!)
