My mum

Thursdays have traditionally been the day I take my mum out so my dad can go to golf with his buddies. For the last 8 months we've not been able to do this, mainly due to my dads ill health and multiple hospital admissions.

Today however, we managed. A quick gp appointment followed by a drive to mums favourite garden centre for a hot drink and a toasted tea cake.

I managed to pick up some reduced bits for my bird feeding station. Which is now very busy. This afternoon Mr Woodpecker returned and I managed to get a clearer picture although again through the kitchen window. Took another picture which didn't come out too well but I loved the shadows...what do you think?
