Sun bathing
Meadow cranesbill flowers raising their faces to the sun, while they still have the chance. They'll soon be overgrown by goose grass, nettles and bracken.
Singing this morning, and some paperwork and domestic stuff in the afternoon. Far too nice to stay indoors all afternoon though, so, after my parcel had arrived, MrM and I took an hour off for a walk round the Common. Bright sunshine and pleasantly warm and, for the first time this year, the woods smelled strongly of pine.
The parcel was HUGE - so big that I had difficulty carrying it up the stairs to the flat. MrM thought I must have mistakenly ordered a very large item! But no - the box contained a very slim curtain rod, a couple of other very small items, and an awful lot of packaging material...
