RINGLET

A walk around the old North Cemetery this morning was lovely until our friendly local garage phoned up and told us that the little plastic clip thingy we asked them to get for the car engine (about half an inch square) is only available from the manufacturer as part of a huge assembly which costs £700 plus whatever the dealers would charge to take the car apart and replace it, as our garage pals wouldn't be able to do it! As the RAC man made a perfectly adequate "temporary" repair when he came which he said should last indefinitely, we're seriously inclined to leave it be. Swear words were uttered, and continue to be thought!
