Stuck on a sand bank

Boat anchored in the harbour after an early morning sail and then it was into the dinghy for a row back to the beach. It was easy rowing until the dinghy got stuck on sandbank .... so the only option was chuck out the wife and dog and make them paddle. Good that the water wasn't too deep ..... dog doesn't like water so was carried a bit like a handbag!

The couple used to be our neighbours in Elie so I know them well.

It has been a beautiful day. I couldn't resist a wee paddle ..... a swim was just a step or two too far!
