Time-Shift

After a long and arduous journey I arrived home at dusk yesterday and couldn't face taking photographs. The first thing that struck me was by how much everything had grown and in particular the grass in the marsh.

I had experienced a time-shift in terms of the time difference in travelling, but also a time- shift between leaving and returning.

That became my subject for today, however, I could not find a way to show the scale of the grass, since it stands about 6 feet tall. It was also quite noticeable how pink the head of the grass looked to the eye en-masse.

So I settled for this shot which, although quite nice, is just a shot of grass.
