Sunshine and Damsels

Beautiful day. Following a trip to York we did had plans to stop off on the way home for a walk. However it was so warm we did not think it wise to leave the food in the car. Instead we came home and then went for a walk in the shade of the woods.

Out in the field where the flood works are there were lots of Painted Lady butterflies. A little further on in part of the flood works the Damsel flies were posing on the reeds. How could I resist?
