Surrounded by a variety of angels............

..........but what is their message?

The central angels have been sitting on the mantelpiece for a few days now, looking serene and beautiful. I rather like the naughty looking one who has just crept up on the right and looks set for mischief.

When Mum was on her painting course in November, she painted angels. The card in the middle of the picture is a result of her efforts and my printing. The ethereal angel glides over the hillside, shedding light. It went out to all her friends with a mixed response. A lot liked it; others said "It's very different from anything you've done before.........." in puzzled tones!

I'm about to re-read Miss Garnet's Angel by Sally Vickers, prior to my trip to Venice early in 2013. It was good first time around.
