Happy Lisbon to you

First thing in the morning, we rushed to a shop to buy the portugese canned sardines. Spiced sardines in olive oil on bread. How satisfying that is!

We hopped on to a tram of line 28 to begin our ride to Alfama area. Pickpockets alert was given inside the tram. Crowded passengers in a tram climbing up in narrow streets. We could almost touch cars outside the window, no glass. Quite a thrilling experience.

And then we went up to the top of a hill, where we had spectacular view of Lisbon and made this shot. Under shades of trees and accompanied by lovely music by a local guitarist, it made our day.

We were walking down the hill to good bye to Lisbon, singing a modified version of Happy Birthday song. Happy Lisbon to you~
