Snug as a bug in a rug

After two nights in the hospital, Nikki and Ernie were finally allowed to come home this morning. Whilst the staff at the Royal Infirmary have been absolutely amazing, there was no disguising our eagerness to settle into life as a three person family.

Thank you NHS for delivering everyone safely last night. You are an incredible institution.

Being a father is such a wonderful feeling! So much responsibility... I can't wait to teach him the ways of the world but I'm also very happy to take things slowly and bask in each moment of his growth. After all, I know it'll fly by faster than we'd like.
