Arthur, Starlings and shopping.

It has been a wonderfully leisurely day.
In the morning Maria had a long lie in and later played the piano.
Arthur found his way to the study window sill to watch the huge family of starlings that had congregated on the aerial of Paul's house next to ours.
The weather was rainy and low light.
We got dressed up in Wintry coats as it was quite cold but the stores had full power heating on. In fact sweltering!
In the afternoon we went for a quick browse at T K Max and Next.
I found some gorgeous Emma Bridgewater boxed notelets and a pretty rose design Heron Cross Pottery jug. It is such a feminine design and colour scheme.
Also bought some Jelly Beans for Paul as he loves these.
All in all a lovely day and will be watching Love Actually in the evening.
