Life's a gas

Excitement in the office as the new £250m 10-year plan for Huddersfield Town Centre is launched today.

Back home the gas men continue to disrupt the neighbourhood. We now have a great big excavation and temporary traffic lights in the lane near the bottom of the driveway. The fun will start on Monday when the lane will be completely closed to traffic.

In all fairness it is essential work and the contractors working on the main are very polite and helpful.
