Summer on the Deck

Bright and sunny again today. The afternoon temps are warming up. 31ºC or 88º F. We had a nice breeze. I trimmed some of the willows until nearly noon when it got too hot. Cooler in the house.
Gigantic thunder and lightning storm in the afternoon to water everything. A typical summer day here. But that is as hot as anyone wants the temperature to go... in the 90's maybe tomorrow.
This is an indoor/outdoor carpet woven in Turkey from polypropylene. It seems to me the red flowers are fading to orange in the light. And it remain sopping wet because we have daily rain. Maybe it will dry out. The potted houseplants are enjoying their summer vacation holiday.
