The day after

It was a busy day, with two schools in and the castle closed until HRH had left the castle island. Stalker is in Glasgow for a Scottish mini break and this evening sent me a photo of Billy Connolly’s banana boots. I have loved Billy since I saw him on his first tv appearance on the Michael Parkinson show in 1976! We’ve seen him live three times, and the first time, in 1979 he was wearing the boots that are now in a glass case in his home town!
