Full steam ahead!

Bill from Aircare Engineering in Young arrived with his offsider at sparrows you know what this morning. They had driven three and a half hours to be here early enough to construct the new awning over the barbecue area and apply the new sheets to the shower area that is being renovated in the guest room. They do incredibly beautiful work and Bill and his Dad were the team that did the structural steel work 20 years ago when I was building Wombat Hollow. They worked through until 6.00pm, it was dark when they were reloading their truck with all of their tools etc. They then had to drive home, another three and a half hour drive.

This morning the tiler will arrive at 7.30am to do the bathroom floor and wall tiles. It’s all systems go now and by the end of next week we should have a wonderful new shower area that is safe for both CCN and I as we grow old and less able to cope. It will help us stay at Wombat Hollow for a LONG LONG time. Well that’s the plan :)
