A lovely day. Meles had her first visit of the season, bringing Andy Cronshaw and Mel. Cron is thinking of doing a piece of music based on the plainchant used at Inchcolm Abbey in about 1300. There is a remarkable survival of a few sheets of music written on the island, which were found as part of the binding of a much later book.
After a jolly evening with M, I popped outside at 22.03 to record the sunset reflected in the windows of Edinburgh.
