Now that swimming is no longer running on a Wednesday, L and I have to find alternative things to do. Today we visited a friend near Maidstone and her two young boys (one aged 7 months and the eldest is nearly 3 years old). They have rather a lot of toys that we don’t have at home and L was in her element and really did not want to leave when it was time to go home.

My friend remarked on how much lives have changed for us both since we met 15 years ago. She’s right.
