Brave Rowan

Love these wee trees that try to grow everywhere! There are several on posts up this glen.
A glorious hot and sunny day, chased by the Peregrine, didn't know it was nesting on the crag, followed by a Cuckoo, so late in the year and fledglings in profusion. A great year for Germander Speedwell , in extra, and Field Pansies.
Also saw some Hawkers and Painted Ladies and a Red Admiral, but all making the most of their short, late season so passing at great speed!
