Wonder what he wished for!

It was C’s 11th birthday today so after a day at his new secondary school we had a family tea party for him. He got lots of presents including a fair stash of money. When asked what he was going to do with it he said he was giving half to an Ataxia charity because his little brother J suffers from Ataxia. It brought a tear to my eye. Not 30 minutes earlier they were fighting and arguing like any other brothers would but then to be so generous and thoughtful in the next breath is wonderful to see.
It is also so, so hard to see J withdraw into himself because the kids at school are now starting to tease him about his problems. He is normally such a fun loving, vivacious wee boy. God kids are cruel
