A Splash of Colour

I thought I might get some nice photographs in the walled garden at Drum Castle, and maybe I did. When I saw this bush with the strong colour I could not resist, and thoughts of the garden receded to the background. I just had to get a photograph of Drum with the bush in the foreground. The garden may be for another day.

Today we also had a splash of summer. The thermometer reached at least twenty degrees in the afternoon. The day had started off quite cool, and when I woke up the central heating had been on and the radiators were quite hot, just like a morning in winter.

The extra was taken inside the chapel.
