Leaving today .....

Last day in Rio. Our flight is leaving tonight at 10 pm.
Neil had booked the Hotel for an additional night so that we could check out in the evening.

I finally made it up to the roof at 6:30 am, but it was not that stunning.
Was back in the room at 7 am and had coffee on the wee balcony, before the sun came over the houses.
Neil surfaced just after 8 am and we started packing before heading to the beach for a pre-breakfast swim.

We were early for breakfast and continued packing and sorting afterwards before going to the beach for a couple of hours until the sun disappeared last after 4 pm.
We showered, finished packing, and walked to Sofa Café for a final coffee before checking out and heading to the airport.

We had 45 minutes in the GOL lounge, which we used to have the last caipirinha of this holiday.

The flight started boarding early. We were not lucky having a full row for us and the flight was rather uncomfortable.
However, I fell asleep quite early and managed to sleep more than I expected.
