If life hands you rain...

Dear Diary,

We are in a bit of a wet period right now so a good excuse to visit some of the shops and galleries in the area. The Old Country Store is a fun place to hang out. It is an icon of Moultonboro having stood at the corner for over 230 years. Inside are big old pickle barrels and a long penny candy counter but the collection of immense paper wasp nests hanging from the ceiling caught my eye. It was always a treat to find an abandoned nest in a tree when I was young. Today is supposed to improve, weather-wise.
