Wet wildlife

After yesterday's monsoon rainfall I took a wander through the woods to view the damage. Many paths were washed out, but otherwise the vegetated areas had soaked it up like a sponge. 

I was dismayed to find the badger sett had obviously been tampered with - some eejits had been poking long sticks down the entrances. Nevertheless was happy to capture this individual busy through the night on the camera, it looked to be doing some maintenance.
