Close to home

Around 3.00 pm this afternoon, I was sitting at my desk doing some work, and watching the sky breaking open. Instant alarmbells!! With a setting sun some nice colors had to appear.
So, though my desk was covered with work, I took my camerabag and tripod and went outside. My youngest son Daan came along on his bike.
I had a great time shooting at the waterside of the Damsterdiep. Daan went home after 10 minutes already, due to a lack of attention from his dad. (I'm sorry Daan...).
I enjoyed it even more because it was so close to my home. I've seen some more photos that have to made, so I'll do this more often I guess.
