Fishertown

When Nairn was a fisher town, th fisher people had their homes near to the harbour. There was no real plan so houses were built, smoke houses attached and bedlam and a stink of smoked fish ruled. There are wonderful stories of societies supporting widowed fisheries and education being important to all. A great place to explore!
