Blue Waxbill

This is the commonest bird in these parts but they flit about in spiky trees and take part in speed races between trees so I was very happy to take a shot of this youngster preening his feathers this morning. Just as well I did as the night drive was not at all fruitful, we saw only 3 jackal and 2 civets, all too far away. Lovely to see them though. Goodnight!
