Gate to the net

This roadside cabinet receives internet traffic via optical fibre and relays it to nearby houses by old fashioned copper wires. The door is open and the engineer’s tool box is on the ground but he is nowhere to be seen. Doubtless he is in someone’s house sorting out their broadband.

I resisted the temptation to rearrange the connections!
