CUTE

We received a few CARE packages after the war from our 'Uncle in America", when I lived in Germany. My grand-mother and I would send him in return a Hummel figurine each year. We both carefully selected one for  him but never bought one for ourselves. Now decades later my friend Alice was downsizing her house and she gave me one of her collection. I could pick one out and this one reminded me of myself as a little First-grader.
