Home again

It’s been a wonderful city break, wonderful weather and wonderful sights. The Friday to Monday weekend has felt longer as each day has been wide open ahead of us, nothing predictable and full of surprises.

Today has been long. Roadworks causing delays, and detours equally blocked, but our driver has been excellent and we were quickly on the ferry after the one we missed. All we had to do was sit and be grateful we weren’t driving...

And we have our first sweet pea flower! Late I know because we planted late, but lots of buds promising more blooms.

There’s been progress here while we’ve been away. All good.
