In the Sunshine

I know I blipped a rose yesterday but I couldn't resist this beauty in my daughter's garden today.  I just love the swirls of color in it!  It's like the whole city has burst into bloom while we were gone.  I will probably be blipping a lot of flowers for a while. :-)     

This really looks a lot brighter and more colorful in large.  I wish we could just have that better resolution on all our images.  Does anyone one why we don't?

I am grateful that my foot is almost back to normal today, just a slight twinge with each step.  It hurt so much on Wednesday that I was sure I would be laid up all summer.  Glad I was wrong!!
