Happy hour

It has been very muggy all day today.. not a sight of the sun but just solid grey cloud and a temperature reaching 23 degrees.  A back treatment, a visit from a friend for coffee and some garden talk, a happy hour sketching in this beautiful church with a group of like minded plein aire painters.  Outside was sultry and lacking shadow so indoors was more intriguing today.  I love theclear glass windows in these churches and this one had some beautiful climbing roses scrambling through the trees beyond.. lovely.  Flossie had her her shorn off today and has breifly turned a rather stunning shade of white.. don't suppose it will last long! (she will feature on blip soon before she rolls in something indescribable!)
