The Beekeeper

Had lunch and a lovely afternoon with my bee keeper friend N. Always such a pleasure to spend time with her in her beautiful house and garden. She showed me her honey room and all the equipment needed for spinning the precious golden liquid and I came away with a pot. She also has hens and here she is with one of the ladies, Copper, who is an excellent layer. N has been plagued by huge hornets lately, you'll see a few in the bottom right of my blip. They are the arch enemies of our honey bees as they can decimate a hive in no time.
