Another chimney

I set up shop in the David Lloyd Centre, this morning, and worked from there until lunchtime, when I went for a run. I do have one route from there, which is a loop that involves going onto Chorley and back around the other side, but I decided to do something new, today, going up into Higher Wheelton, and then back along the canal.

Well, the website I used to plan my route was a little ambiguous about crossing the canal and when I got to Higher Wheelton and ducked down Chorley Road towards the canal, the route was a little less obvious, too. But I encountered a postman who advised me to head towards the chimney, which reminded me of the time when spotting a chimney that the Minx had pointed out to me had also saved me from getting lost.

After work, I went into Chorley to meet Dom for a belated birthday drink. I gave him a book but also assembled the fab jar of sweets for him as you can see in my extra.
