On the fifth day of Christmas ...

" You should see me at Musselburgh when I feed the birds there. They land on my head and feed from my hand," said this clearly disappointed lady who was, neverthless, very happy to be photographed.

Not sure the local bylaws allow such activities but the gulls certainly loved it and for the second day running have disproved my theory that there are not many gulls on the beach. They are usually in Princes Street Gardens feeding off the tourists!
