Burnet Moth
After our grocery shopping was over we headed for our regular Sunday walk on Carskey beach.
Very quiet at the beach.
The tide was well out and some of the kelp beds were exposed.
Some terns were diving offshore but no gannets diving.
On the way back to the car after walking to the far end of the beach we took the path at the back of the dunes.
Lots of sea bindweed and this flower had this rather striking moth on it.
I think it is a Six-spot Burnet.
