Surprised the mother in law by going with my aunt to collect her from from airport following her trip to Tokyo for xmas. She was really overwhelmed. Anneke and I were rather pleased with ourselves.

We dropped her back at the house to get settled and we went for a wander into Morningside. I'd never noticed the sign at the Canny Man's quite so bright before. (We were tempted instead by Bennets of Morningside - better chat and less dusty...)
