Another Orkney orchid

Pretty sure it's a heath spotted orchid - but I am happy to stand corrected!  They are all over the place just now, and it is lovely to see them.  What is really touching is that when they spring up in lawns, most folk mow round them, including neighbour Jimmy. 

The St Magnus Festival is underway and Mike was in the Festival Chorus performing Vaughan Williams Dona Nobis Pacem this evening.  There was a rehearsal in the afternoon and no time to come home between that and the concert, so it was a long time to be away.  I didn't want to leave Lottie, so stayed home with her.  This is the first time for many years that I haven't taken part, or even been to hear the concert, but I have heard Mike practising the bass part regularly!
