Nora Jo came to visit this morning

We were happy to entertain a visitor this morning. Nora Jo and her Uncle and 'Mimi' walked over for a visit. They have been chief babysitters as Nora's parents were away at a wedding all weekend. She has her favorite things and places here and of course there is Raspberry to look for and pat. It is always such a lift to see her little face. 

I've settled down from the events of yesterday. There have been many official emails forwarded to us. A 4-H official was very disappointed in the destructive behaviors of the children involved,  "4H prides itself on the positive actions and leadership abilities of even the youngest members. I truly apologize for their actions and they will no longer be part of 4H". I hope some lessons were learned, and we learned that the Club may not be invited back.

For the Record,
This day came in warm and sunny. We just spent the last 2 hours sitting out on the patio. I had one of the wrens land on my knee and later dive bomb Fan the chipmunk as she ate peanuts from a container in my lap. Exciting interactions with our birdies and beasties. The wrens are both busy bring food to their babies who hatched two days ago.
