WOOO HOOO! Surfing into 2013

I cannot really express how beautiful the ocean was this morning..........so clean,clear and sparkling.......... the waves were gorgeously graceful in their curling toward the shore.....no wonder the surfers were out.

I remember many years ago I had a lover who was a mad surfer. Being an English lass I would sit on the headland and watch.

I was never much of a beach bunny but I was very aware of the fact that to the surfers the ocean was their church and I would love to witness their prayers as they caught the waves.

Today was a milestone...we got the kite up in the air...in fact it went so high we ran out of string.............also the fact that I nearly decapitated an innocent bystander is incidental.
