Recently the Pitsligo Arms in the village reopened under new management.
I booked a table for our anniversary meal.
The new owners are very accommodating. We gave them notice that we were vegan, and they told me it wasn’t a problem. The chef like a challenge. He had never cooked vegan before.
It was brilliant. Instead of just a main course, he had made up a three course menus with two choices for each course.
So we had three courses.


It was very enjoyable. And I highly recommend it. So glad we went. I was particularly impressed with the children’s art in the hall of buildings in the village.
We really need to support locally owned businesses trying to buck the trend of corporate take overs.
