A Sea of Pink

Ah, a perfect summer's day!  Calm, with a light breeze tonight, sunshine all day, and the sun setting at 10.30pm.

I've been working at the Croft House Museum all day, and a steady day of local and south visitors.  Even tried some French, didn't do too well.  I have been on security duties all day.  A bumblebee kept invading the museum, maybe trying to find a new home, and I had to keep escorting her out again, and it went on all day!  I managed to get to the peat hill after tea.  I've finally finished raising them, and managed to turn a good few too.  Mam and dad popped by and lent a hand for a bit, and dad gave me a few good pointers for next year.  Feet up now.

I didn't get to see much of the sun, and stuck indoors most of the day, so a lunchtime walk was much needed.  I headed along the banks, and the sea breeze was lovely.  The colours around the isles are fantastic just now, like this pinks from the sea pinks.  Looking up to Tumblewick  Scatness.
