Covering ground

Today I’ve been to visit a very old friend who is celebrating a number of events, including wedding anniversary and birthday. She lives in Wolverhampton so I managed the round trip in a day - car, bus, tram, train, another train, taxi, and the same in reverse on the way home. In between, my friend took a couple of us to David Austen’s rose nursery and show garden. No way a photo can do it justice. Breathtaking!
