Moth names

This rather common little moth is a very good example of the way a lot of moths get their common names. 
This moth is called a Heart and Dart because the markings look like a heart and a dart, obvious really, except it isn't as the majority of the ones I catch have streaks and blotches that really don't look anything like a heart or a dart!
