Self-Seeded

We’ve an abundance of Astrantia in flower in part of the front garden which seeded themselves in the gravel.  They are one of my very favourite plants and they are very good natured.  I’ve planted other things today that I bought at Morton Garden Centre on our way back from Cambridge on Friday:  Calamagrostis Karl Foerster - a grass with bronze pink seed heads; Lathyrus Niger - pink pea flowers and a lime green foliage; Catananche caerula Alba - grassy foliage and white flowers; Trifolium Peachy Pink - clover foliage and bottle brush flowers - pink.
