The Robin....

Today a group of 24 folk from the Marlborough Camera, the Nelson Camera Club and the Motueka Camera Club embarked on a trip down Queen Charlotte Sound to Motuara Island, a wild life sanctuary. This little Bush Robin has put himself in charge of a small pool where other birds visit to drink or bathe. Apparently he has been seen to see off other birds even big wood pigeons. E-Ko Tours were our hosts. Their boat was very comfortable and we were in good company. The weather was awful with a roaring southerly, low cloud and rain. Despite that we had a great day out.
