Pitlochry in Bloom

These were the wonderfully colourful displays outside Hettie's Tea Room in Pitlochry, one of our favourite places to visit.  However, this was not our destination this evening, as we were booked in to another favourite restaurant for a meal before a visit to the Festival Theatre.

The show was "Summer Holiday", very loosely based on the film of the same name and with many of the favourite songs well remembered by people of our vintage:-)  We all sang along in good voice and when it came to the finale of "Dancing Shoes", TJ was up there with the rest of them showing his best moves!  Hope he can still move tomorrow:-)

It was an excellent production, as always, from a multi-talented group of performers and, okay, the lead singer was no Cliff Richard, but he was rather cute!  A most enjoyable evening all round.
